“You cannot do what I do. But I cannot do what you do.
Each of us has his or her own work to do.
The important thing is that we all do something beautiful for God.”

Mother Theresa

Our Mission

Our Mission is to make sacred artwork available for your home or church to serve as a daily reminder of God’s loving presence, and to inspire a resurgence of meaningful art that calls the seeker to a higher, heavenly reality.
-To support and encourage artists to create fine religious art
-To do something beautiful for God
-To provide artwork that will enrich and inspire lives
-To bring people closer to God through beauty in art

Our Purpose

Inspired by St. John Paul II’s vision of a “New Renaissance,” we seek to bring people closer to God through the power of beauty. We support the creation of fine religious art to serve as a daily reminder of His presence and to inspire a modern resurgence of the sacred in our homes and churches.
“Beauty is the vocation of the artist. It is the duty and privilege of the Church’s artists to design the maps which will direct the Faithful to the Almighty.”St. John Paul II

Our Story

It started as a love story- a love for God,
a love for each other, a love for family,  and a love for art.

The Sacred Art Gallery was founded in 2016 by Charles and Christine Pabst in response to a need they recognized both in their local community and beyond—a dedicated space to display and share religious artwork. Charles, an artist with more than 50 years of experience, found himself increasingly drawn to creating works rooted in faith. In conversations with fellow artists, he discovered a shared desire to explore religious themes—alongside a common frustration: there were few, if any, venues where such work could be meaningfully exhibited or sold.

Recognizing a growing cultural renewal centered on Beauty, Truth, and Goodness, Charles and Christine felt called to create a gallery devoted specifically to sacred art. The original gallery opened in the Scottsdale Arts District, among a vibrant and respected community of galleries. It was warmly received and quickly became more than just an exhibition space—it also served as a place of encounter and evangelization through art.

In 2020, the challenges brought on by the COVID pandemic forced the closure of that location. For a time, the gallery continued in a smaller Scottsdale space while searching for a new home that could better accommodate its expanding collection. In 2024, SAG found that home in Mesa, Arizona, where it now resides in a larger, more spacious setting.

Today, The Sacred Art Gallery is a destination for those seeking inspiration through the work of talented artists from around the world—artists who strive to answer the call to “do something beautiful for God.”

Whether you are looking for a meaningful piece for your home or a work that will enrich a sacred space, we invite you to visit and experience art that uplifts, inspires, and speaks to the soul.
