Rendered in contemporary realism, Lion of Judah & Lamb of God offers a serene, meditative vision of power tempered by grace. Kevin Pawlowski captures a large, majestic male lion reclining peacefully beside a young, resting lamb, creating a harmonious scene that merges strength with gentleness.
The composition draws upon profound biblical imagery from Revelation 5:5 and Isaiah 11:6, illustrating the dual nature of Jesus Christ. The regal lion represents Christ’s divine authority, victorious triumph, and kingship as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, while the innocent lamb symbolizes His humility, sacrificial love, and obedience as the Paschal Lamb. Pawlowski’s heavier brushstrokes impart a tactile, painterly texture to the canvas, giving lifelike dimension to the coat of the lion and the soft fleece of the lamb.
Available as the original oil painting on canvas or in fine museum-quality giclée reproductions.
