Rendered in a striking contemporary realism style, this original oil painting captures the valiant spirit, unwavering courage, and pure faith of Saint Joan of Arc. Clad in her iconic armor, Joan stands with a resolute gaze and poised sword, ready to fulfill her divine mission.
Behind her, a magnificent rose stained glass window bathes the composition in rich color and luminous light. Intricately detailed within the glass are the three heavenly guides from Joan’s visions: Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Margaret, and Saint Catherine. Pawlowski’s expressive brushwork and dynamic interplay of light bring both the saint and her heavenly intercessors to life, offering a powerful visual testimony to spiritual conviction and holy boldness.
A inspiring highlight for devotional collections, parish spaces, and personal sanctuaries.
