\r\n\"God planted a tiny love note in my six year-old heart, that one glorious day I would be a mother. Here I am, nearly fifty years later, mother to four of the most beautiful souls in the world.
\r\nIt is here that I continue the dance with love. But patience? This is where the clay comes in! My infatuation with pottery began in high school, making improv appearances throughout college & young adult life.
\r\nFour children, a ten+ year hiatus, followed by a move back to my home state and I found myself back in the studio saddle. The hours flied by! Slumped over a wheel, hand building, glazing- once again, the clay had me hooked.
\r\nSettling back in the Valley of the Sun found me searching for studio space when a stumbled-upon ancient kiln fell from the heavens, marking the birth of my very own home-grown studio.
\r\nLargely self-taught, I am honored to have my work available on display in various shops and galleries of the southwest. The essence of my soul, faith as a Catholic Christian remains both a prayer and a calling
\r\nthat I am able to witness to my faith through my work.\" - Daina Meyer
\r\nA proud Native Minnesotan and new grandma, Daina now resides in the beautiful Arizona Sonoran Desert with her husband & adult children.
