She later studied art as a baccalaureate and began her career as a realist portrait painter. June loves to study and recreate the planes of the face, she recognizes the human figure as made in the image of God and all His glory. Her favorite portraits to paint are those of the Holy Family. Her sacred portraits hang in churches, religious non-profits and community centers and private homes. Her religious originals have previously sold in the Sacred Art Gallery of Scottsdale, Arizona as well as High Tide Gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida in addition to several online platforms.

\r\nAfter suffering a pregnancy loss that was devastating to her and her family and resulted in a depression and major creative block, June took some time off painting. However, by the grace of God, one day, June picked a brush back up and painted purely for emotional consolation. It was during this time, she began experimenting with new contemporary styles. June began blending elements of her faith with classical impressionism and contemporary figurative styles to form truly unique and meaningful pieces of modern Christian art.
