The viewer is immediately captured by the bright and joyful colors that seem to dance across her paintings. The layers of shiny paint are applied with instinctual flair using the timeless impasto technique. \"I love to play with colors, and draw my inspirations from graphic delectables intermixed with nature.
\r\n\"Pure art itself has no utility; it only exists to engage the mind. Good art feeds transcendent needs that humans desire; things that are greater than our daily physical tasks. It feeds our sense of awe, our desire for order, balance, and harmony. It is an orchestration of light and dark that capitalizes emotions, especially joy. These things touch a transcendental note inside the hearts and minds of people. It's much like the beauty and treasure that women are; we are not simply objects to be used and thrown away. Our true beauty is transcendent. We are made for more than our daily physical needs and desires.\"<\/i>

\r\nCara has always been in love with the way that color and form can speak. As the daughter of successful artist, Charles H. Pabst, she grew up watching and learning, fine-tuning her inherited talent. While obtaining a BA in Art History at Arizona State University, she enjoyed taking in every interesting detail about the origins and cultures from which art pieces have emerged.

\r\n\"A flower is fleetingly sweet, fresh, cheerful, and purely natural. There is nothing contrived in the way in which it bursts forth, making an always-welcomed appearance. There is perfect order and joy in its constant cycle of life. Perhaps this is why I was naturally drawn to capturing them as my main source of inspiration. Clouds, in all their fresh and constant movement, make such an incredible backdrop. My eyes will never tire of these portraits of time. Our Creator is unspeakable, ever-changing Beauty, and I can only capture a second's worth of this eternal order in my own way. I am thankful for such a wonderful privilege.\"<\/i>
\r\nMoran's work has been enthusiastically received, exuding an energy and joy that her public finds compelling. Using almost exclusively palette knife, the texture she achieves makes her work three dimensional. But it's the fourth dimension, the intangible quality that captivates the viewer and holds him spellbound.
