When he started doing picture framing for some successful artists, his desire to try his hand at painting something beautiful was born.<BR><br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nAs a young man, Mark experienced a profound religious conversion. The combination of his new faith, his family background, and his many years spent working in an artist\u2019s studio, set the stage for venturing into a new creative endeavor, and he began to feel a desire to express his new faith through his painting.<BR><br \/>\r\nMark\u2019s great passion is spending time growing in his understanding of God, especially studying His Word. Learning about Maker and the stories from the Bible have combined to provide the themes of his work for The Sacred Art Gallery.<BR><br \/>\r\nTaking inspiration and guidance from Charles H. Pabst and Reid Richardson, he has developed his own unique style of simplicity. Using bold and dominant colors, Mark's paintings bring forth stories in a beautiful, radiant light.<BR><br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n\"I often struggle to find the right words to express what I want to say,
