A Mighty Power

"A Mighty Power" is based on a lorica (a prayer of protection) attributed to St Patrick called "The Deer Cry" aka "St Patrick's Breastplate". In the first of nine stanzas he calls on the Holy Trinity, as a mighty power, for protection of a litany of issues. "For my Shield this day I call a might power, the Holy Trinity. Affirming threeness, confessing oneness, in the making of all, through love".
