This antique illustration shows the Catholic Carmelite nun and Saint, Therese of Lisieux (the little flower), spreading rose pedals at the doorway of the Holy Family's house.
Saint Joseph works while the Christ child runs to embrace Therese. Note the crucifix in the shadow of the child Jesus and the Calvary scene outside the door.
