Summer Art Walk

July 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Sacred Art Gallery Showcases Live Painting by Cara Moran at our Summer Art Walk

Experience art in motion during The Sacred Art Gallery’s Summer Art Walk on Friday, July 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. as contemporary impressionist Cara Moran turns the gallery into her studio for an evening of color, texture, and joy.

Moran—daughter of renowned Western painter Charles H. Pabst and a graduate in Art History from Arizona State University—is celebrated for her bold palette‑knife technique and instinctive use of impasto. Layers of luminous paint build highly textured, three‑dimensional surfaces where “bright and joyful colors dance across the canvas,” inviting viewers into a world that is at once tactile and transcendent. Drawing inspiration from nature’s fleeting sweetness—flowers, clouds, and the shifting desert light—she orchestrates light and dark to spark awe, balance, and harmony.

“Good art feeds our transcendent needs,” Moran says. “It is an orchestration of light and dark that capitalizes emotions, especially joy.”
