January Art Walk

The Sacred Art Gallery Welcomes
Kevin Pawlowski & Cole Dieterle
Epiphany Art Walk | January 10
Join us as The Sacred Art Gallery celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany with a special January Art Walk on Saturday, January 10, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. We joyfully welcome Kevin Pawlowski and Cole Dieterle, two of our out-of-town featured artists, whose journeys bring them to our gallery bearing gifts of beauty, craftsmanship, and faith.
Epiphany recalls the coming of the Magi—travelers from distant lands who followed the light and arrived bearing offerings for Christ. As the Gospel of Matthew proclaims:
“And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.”
—Matthew 2:11
In this same spirit, Kevin and Cole come from afar, offering the fruits of their creative vocations—works shaped by prayer, patience, and devotion.
Featured Artists
Kevin Pawlowski
Based in Woodstock, Georgia, Kevin Pawlowski brings a thoughtful and eclectic approach to Christian art, working across multiple media and styles. His work reflects a balance of discipline and devotion, drawing from both traditional techniques and contemporary expression.
By day, Kevin serves as a marketing communications manager for an industrial chemical company. Outside of work, he can be found meticulously snipping glass tiles for mosaics in his basement studio or painting antique etchings at his dining room table. Though he has been painting and drawing for over 30 years, Kevin experienced a renewed calling toward religious and spiritual subjects beginning in 2012—a turning point that continues to shape his artistic life.
His works invite contemplation, revealing sacred meaning through careful craft and material beauty.
Cole Dieterle
Closer to God, one letter at a time.
Cole Dieterle’s journey into sacred art began in 2016 with a simple love for fountain pens—an interest that soon unfolded into a vocation rooted in calligraphy and illuminated text. As his skill grew, so did his sense that each carefully formed letter could become an act of prayer.
Inspired by Medieval and Renaissance illumination, Cole creates manuscript-style renderings of familiar prayers and sacred quotations—texts often spoken from memory, yet rediscovered through the slow, intentional act of writing. In giving attention to each word, Cole found himself drawn closer to God, one letter at a time.
After years of developing this work alongside a teaching career, Cole took a leap of faith. Since Summer 2022, sacred calligraphy has been his full-time vocation—supporting his family while sharing reverence, beauty, and devotion with others.
